Description


VTM is a digital controller designed for the proportional control of high-speed three-phase asynchronous motor speed used on axial, radial or centrifugal fans in HVAC/R and industrial applications. The control principle is based on phase-cut control balanced with the main supply which enables the accurate,efficient control of speed and reduces electrical and mechanical wear and tear of the motors.

Available in 8 A, 12 A and 20 A versions, VTM operates in master mode and includes a proportional control system, with native support for the Copeland Digital Scroll control, making it especially suitable for advanced cooling systems.

The device has an adjustable analog input, compatible with 4-20 mA pressure transducers, 0-5 Vdc, 0-10 VDC signals or NTC probes with a scale from +10°C to +60°C so that it can be accurately adjusted to reflect the operating conditions of the system.

For auxiliary management, VTM has three programmable on-off contacts that can be used for the remote Start/Stop functions, TK thermal protection and speed forcing at a maximum value to be set or at 100%, ensuring reactivity even in critical operating conditions. The controller also includes an adjustable relay to signal alarms.

The control parameters include setpoints, proportional bands, minimum and maximum speed, giving the application flexibility and adaptability to the heat profiles required by modern ventilated heat exchangers.

Protected against power surges on the network and disturbances on the command inputs, VTM is available in the IP20 version for assembly on electric control panels and IP55 for direct installation in difficult environments. It is the ideal solution to control ventilation in dry coolers, condensers and industrial HVAC/R systems.
