Description
The SIM generator is a simple electromechanical transducer which generates an analog command signal, enabling simulation of the main sensors and transducer command signals with a single device.
It is used to simulate the analog signal, which can be chosen from among the following: 0-5 V, 0-10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, NTC (10kohm) and PTC, generated by a sensor and/or a transducer thanks to an advanced electronic circuit, controlled by a precision potentiometer with multi-turn resolution (10 turns).
SIM was designed to allow the direct connection of a multimeter to read the output command signal.
PLEASE NOTE: the converter must receive power directly from the controller system to which it is connected, with 10-24 Vdc output (min. 25.0 mA).
The device must be powered with voltage of 24 Vdc through the specific +V output, always available on SELPRO controllers, set up as follows:
- Removable 3-pin, 5-step connector for rapid wiring connection to facilitate any cable replacements in case of wear and tear;
- Multi-turn potentiometer to accurately generate the command from 0 to 100% of the selected signal;
- 6-position selector switch to choose which signal to provide;
- Led POWER to indicate the right power for the device’s electronics.
