Description
EMK is a compact panel with an integrated switch, designed to operate through the Modbus RTU protocol only, permitting the master controller to manage all the operating parameters in real time, both reading and writing. Ideal for the control of single phase fans in HVAC/R systems, it provides an accurate, efficient speed control system and features two independent 10 A outputs that enable up to six single phase motors to be managed divided into two separate circuits, making installation more flexible.
The motor commands are carried out through phase-cut control balanced with the main supply, with continuous proportional control from 0% to 100%. Each output has a set 6-second acceleration/deceleration ramp for each complete speed variation.
Thanks to its integrated architecture, EMK makes it easier to design the system, eliminating the need for external components like relays, terminal boards or auxiliary power units. The incorporated switch and two independent outputs make installation faster, more secure and orderly, helping reduce time-frames, costs and clutter on the electrical panel.
If requested when ordering, it may be connected to an optional remote display for the local management of the parameters and to view the operational status .
If there is no communication for a period that is higher than the default timeout, the fans will be driven automatically at the emergency speed which can be chosen using the dip switch.
Monitoring of the TK protections is integrated into the motor output terminals, and can be accessed through Modbus for remote diagnostics.
Housed in an IP55 technopolymer, highly resistant container, EMK is suitable for use in environments that are dusty, humid or where there are high temperatures, thereby providing a complete, ready-to-use solution.
Inputs, outputs and connectivity
- Isolated Modbus RTU RS485 interface with communication settings that can be configured.
- Motor outputs: 2 independent circuits of 10 A each, with connection of up to 3 fans per output (6 motors in total), phase-cut control and integrated TK reading
Special features
- You can independently manage two ventilation units with a maximum load of 10 A each
- Each channel can be configured separately, with specific settings for speed, ramps and operating mode
- The device has an integrated switch which transforms it into a compact, independent electric control panel so that no external components are needed to install the system
- The standard hardware for this device permits customization on request such as changing the ON/OFF contact functions, adjusting the transducer conversion scales or adding other targeted functions to meet specific operating requirements.
