Silence, Efficiency without compromise and full compatibility
The DSV Selpro series marks a new frontier in control that is fully compatible with ventilation systems with three-phase AC motors.
Based on hybrid, sinusoidal voltage step technology, it was designed to provide smooth, completely silent control, with no harmonic distortions (THD=0%) and fully compliant with European EMC regulations.
Unlike the inverters and the phase-cut control controllers, DSV guarantees the total absence of noise and electrical noise, even with standard asynchronous motors.
Thanks to digital sequential switching at 6+2 levels, each voltage change is made on a progressive basis through autotransformers, with soft-start management at every step, reducing power spikes and mechanical stresses on the fan motors.
DSV is an advanced electronic controller, designed for accurate, silent and efficient control, ideal for HVAC/R applications like dry coolers, condensers, chillers and ventilation systems with high speed asynchronous motors .
DSV is available in proportional Master or Slave versions, and can power AC motor units up to nominal 48A RMS, with three-phase 400 Vac power. It is compatible with all high speed motors, and has an IP55 container, protected against dust and water.
Operational flexibility and customization:
Supports 2 independent setpoints and 2 parameter sets that can be customized to manage speed ramps, voltage jumps, nighttime limits, day/night mode and seasonal logic. The control channel can be chosen automatically according to the higher of the 2 analog inputs available.
Intelligent management of adiabatic systems:
DSV was designed for the advanced control of adiabatic systems, with proportional 0-10Vdc outputs for pumps or inverters and an ON-OFF command through relays which can be started up according to the temperature, timers or ambient value limits. The synergy between ventilation and evaporative cooling ensures maximum efficiency, even in the most challenging conditions.
Advanced diagnostics and reliability:
It has an event register with an internal real-time clock (RTC) to track the operational transitions, the alarms and the control statuses. The operation parameters can be accessed through the Modbus RTU interface, facilitating integration with BMS systems and the remote operating management. The electronic protections against power surges, overloading, blocked fans and power supply errors make it ideal for critical systems with high service continuity requirements.
DSV is the complete solution for the robust, efficient, intelligent control of three-phase motors, for those who seek silence, reliability and connectivity.
